Requests for a barrister's opinion are subject to conflict checks, suitability assessment, the barrister's scope of authorisation and written acceptance of instructions. Public Access is available only where the instructed barrister is authorised for Public Access work and considers the matter suitable. Payment to the platform does not itself create a barrister-client relationship.
