Regulatory information

Who we are, how we are regulated and how services are delivered.

Article 1

Identity

Article 2

Nature of the service

Global Lawyers House operates a multilingual intake, triage and coordination platform. Unless expressly confirmed in a signed engagement letter, GLOBAL LAWYERS HOUSE LTD is not itself an SRA-authorised law firm and does not provide reserved legal services.

Article 3

Reserved legal services

Reserved legal services in England & Wales are delivered only by solicitors regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) or by other authorised persons under the Legal Services Act 2007.

Article 4

UK immigration

UK immigration advice and services are provided only by an adviser or organisation authorised by the Immigration Advice Authority, or by a professional legally exempt from IAA registration, including where applicable an SRA- or BSB-authorised provider.

Article 5

Barrister instruction

Barristers are instructed under Bar Standards Board (BSB) Public Access or Licensed Access. Public Access is available only where the instructed barrister is authorised for Public Access work and considers the matter suitable. Payment does not constitute acceptance of instructions until the barrister confirms in writing.

Article 6

Foreign lawyers

Registered Foreign Lawyers are not solicitors of England & Wales unless separately admitted; titles are used only as authorised by the SRA.

Article 7

Client money

Global Lawyers House does not hold client money or operate an escrow account. Payments are processed by regulated payment providers.

Article 8

Data protection

Personal data is processed under UK GDPR. The Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) is the supervisory authority for data-protection matters.

Article 9

Professional indemnity and protections

Where a matter is delivered by an authorised professional under a separate engagement, the applicable professional indemnity insurance, compensation arrangements and regulatory protections are those of that provider and will be confirmed in the engagement letter. GLOBAL LAWYERS HOUSE LTD is not itself covered by the SRA Compensation Fund unless expressly stated.

Article 10

Complaints

Complaints about the platform are handled under our Complaints Procedure. Complaints about an authorised professional follow that provider's own regulated complaints route and, where applicable, the Legal Ombudsman (www.legalombudsman.org.uk). Data-protection concerns may be raised with the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

Article 11

Verification

Clients may verify the status of any solicitor, firm, immigration adviser or barrister via the public registers of the SRA, the IAA and the BSB. Register links are provided in the engagement letter.
